The 2017 Farm City Celebration Restaurant Program is cookin’ all through November

The Farm City Celebration’s 2017 Restaurant Program is back highlighting local eateries in our community that are committed to supporting local agriculture. Farm City Celebration aims to increase an understanding of agriculture’s immense value to the urban community, and to show its importance to all who live in Chico, as well as the surrounding communities.
We are so fortunate to have a diversity of crops ranging from almonds, rice, walnuts, olives and stone fruits such as peaches, apricots and plums, to a large variety of fresh vegetables, local meats, cheeses and wines. Restaurants and cafés are an important market sector for farmers who sell their products locally. During this year’s celebration, you can visit the restaurants listed here to find a variety of dishes prepared with farm-fresh products grown right here in the North Valley. All of these restaurants have a commitment to sourcing locally when possible to support local farmers and at the same time turning our region’s agricultural offerings into culinary delights. Support Butte County agriculture by choosing to eat out during the month of November at the restaurants mentioned here.
